About us
Rooted on Babylon Turnpike, growing with Freeport
Ready Set Grow Learning Academy Inc. is a day care center at 63 Babylon Turnpike — led by a Freeport pastor and community leader who believes a childcare center should be one of the places a neighborhood holds itself together.
A garden, not a warehouse
Anybody can watch children for a day. Growing them takes the same things a garden takes: rich ground, patient tending, and time in the light. That is the idea this academy was built on — that a day care center should be small enough for every child to be known, warm enough for every family to feel at home, and open enough that the whole community can see itself in what happens here.
So the learning is real and unhurried, the days have a rhythm children can trust, and the doors stay open: to parents at pickup, to neighbors at breakfast, to anybody on the block who wants to read a story, plant a row, or lend a hand. Freeport families have noticed — every Google review the academy has received is five stars.

What we believe
Four things we tend, every day
Known by name
Every child, every parent, every grandparent at the door — known, greeted and remembered. Small is not a limitation here; it is the method.
Joy is the method
Children learn best where they are happy. Play, laughter, music and time outside are not breaks from the learning — around here, they are the learning.
The neighborhood belongs here
Gatherings, drives, clean-up days and story nights — the academy belongs to Freeport, and Freeport is welcome inside it.
Ready for what’s next
Kindergarten, yes — but also the longer harvest: confidence, kindness, curiosity and the habit of showing up for other people. That is what we are growing.
See it yourself
Beliefs are easy to print. Come watch a morning.
A tour takes the measure of a place better than any page can. Walk in, and judge us by the noise level, the hugs, and the artwork on the walls.
