Our community
The neighborhood is part of the curriculum
Children grow up watching what the adults around them do together. Around Ready Set Grow, the adults gather, help, celebrate and show up for each other — and the children are right in the middle of it. This page is the front door to all of it: what’s happening, and how to be part of it.

Come to a gathering
Breakfasts, story nights, fun days — just show up. Everything is family-friendly, and nobody is a stranger the second time.

Read to a classroom, help at a clean-up, share a skill at family night. An hour of your time is a big thing in a small child’s memory.

Put your name on the community list
This is how our community stays a community between gatherings: one list, word sent when something good is coming up. Enrolled or not, Freeport or just passing through — if you care about the children on this block, you belong on it.
